Stratford Village

The staff was really nice when I talked to them. But their bosses over them I don't like. I'm still waiting to know if I got the apartment or not. I've never waited this long just to be told yes or no. Plus they keep sending me the employment verification email which I have completed several times. But the apartment I did visit was very nice and the property grounds are very clean. I just canceled my application they did that very very fast. That's the only thing they did fast!!!

The housing is poor! They made it look liveable! It is NOT! So many leaks, they DO NOT replace door knobs, MASSIVE NAT problems, constantly CHARGING RESIDENT FEES! Manager has attitude and is rude! Maintenance COMPLAINS and don't want to fix anything. The new company Higland Vista Group is rude and doesn't care about residents. They constantly GO BACK ON THEIR WORD! It's been so many shoot-outs within the past year. Drugs, loud music, and bad kids all over this community! Will EVICT you within 3... weeks (month is not even over) and even after charging you 1 late fee of $100. They DO NOT CARE, just money hungry! Changes in office staff so much! Very alarming! This apartment complex is horrible. Constant gun shots being fired everyday. People throw trash everywhere making the property look messy. The walls are so thin and the floors just whine as upstairs neighbors move through the apartment. Some neighbors double park on purpose which caused myself and others to park across from the actual building. They have a fee for pest control added and nobody ever came to spray. Not a good experience living here. The grounds are unkept and not able to use the pool since I got here months ago. Would not recommend

The office staff and maintenance staff are great! The 2 bedroom/ 2 bath is very spacious. Apartment has wood burning fire place and balcony/ patios. Very quiet neighborhood, located near I-85 ramps for easy access to most parts of Montgomery. Complex has 2 pools, tennis court, and trails to Shakespeare park.
