The Mill at Prattville

I’ve really enjoyed living at The Mill at Prattville. It’s such a unique community and definitely doesn’t feel like your typical apartment complex. I love the historic character, the location near downtown Prattville, and all of the amenities the community offers. Yes, the pricing may be a little higher than some other options in the area, but for me, the overall experience has been worth it. Between the apartment itself, the location, the amenities, and the service from the team, I feel like... you’re getting more than just a place to live. The office team is always friendly and helpful, and maintenance has been responsive whenever I’ve needed anything. You can tell the staff takes pride in the community and works hard to take care of the residents. Didn’t think I’d like a 2-br, 2 1/2 bath after living in a 4- br home. Wrong! The Mill is modern with all the original historic touches, beautiful views, high vaulted ceilings, 4 massively large arched windows letting in great natural light, well maintained stainless kitchen appliances, easy to clean vinyl flooring, and the most helpful, knowledgeable administrative staff to assist you. As a recovering stroke patient, the Mill has easy access step-in bathroom shower, well-equipped gym for my daily use, an elevator (not found at other apartments we looked into), great vinyl flooring and wide open interior spacing in the event I might need a walker or wheelchair in the future. Right across the street to historic downtown and pathways to walk around the river—giving me independence as I don’t drive anymore. Extremely supportive, caring staff and friendly residents makes this a... great community and not just a place you pay rent. Close to my doctors, rehab center and grocery stores.
