Brightwaters Apartments

I’ve been dealing with persistent sewer issues for the past year. During one incident, I left for only three hours and came back to find water overflowing from the bathtub and toilet, soaking the floors. Every time I submitted a maintenance ticket, the team would show up and apply a temporary fix—but the very next day, the same problem would return. Eventually, they placed large drying machines in my unit to dry the walls, which ran for 24 hours and were incredibly loud and disruptive.

The gym is a joke—it’s poorly maintained, constantly smells bad, and only has three treadmills, a few dumbbells, and broken machines that are never fixed.

On top of that, I hear loud noises daily from other tenants’ dryers and washers. There’s zero sound insulation.

What’s even more frustrating is that despite all these issues, management still raised the rent—which was already overpriced to begin with!

I’ve spoken to leasing agents multiple times. They make promises, but nothing ever gets resolved.

Stay away from these units. At the time of writing, there are more than 10 vacant apartments, and no one wants to rent these poorly maintained units.

If you want to rent a unit in this area, just look across the street—there are much better options with lower rent, cleaner facilities, and better overall management. Read More

Living at Brightwaters is great! The staff is friendly and easy to work with. The maintenance staff is terrific and always quick to respond to any needs or problems. The grounds are always neat and clean.

Love the apartment itself but the constant changes of management and office staff is hard at times. Also the lack of follow through from the office staff.

If you’re a person who doesn’t need much it’s a perfect place

Brightwaters is a peaceful and relaxed community with facilities that have been recently updated. Located in a quiet, beautiful, and safe neighborhood by the river. There are amazing places to jog and bike, yet you are only 10 minutes from downtown.
The Brightwaters staff is friendly, incredibly helpful, and always willing to take a few minutes to visit. They are genuinely concerned about the residents and are always quick to respond to any maintenance needs or answer questions.

The location is beautiful. Property staff seem very friendly. They are in the process of remodeling which is creating lots of changes. The forced moving from an outdated apartment to an upgraded one could have been handled better.
