Thank God I'm Leaving
When we first moved in, the complex was quiet, comfortable, and nice. The amenities were well-kept, the grounds were clean, and the staff at the office was friendly, efficient, and helpful. As we've been living here, this has changed. There's new management, I guess. The complex is loud, with people allowed to party outside at 2 AM, rev loud cars and music at all hours, and management taking no accountability. The grounds are littered, trash overflowing at all the cans, and the pool was often... too gross to swim in in the summer. There's been multiple occasions where my rent/utility payment was incorrect on the portal and they tried to overcharge me and took weeks to fix it. Often, the water shuts off randomly, with a very short notice. Additionally, these apartments are put together with glue and popsicle sticks. Multiple things needing repairs in the span of months, showing shoddy craftmanship and cheap build. Maintenance takes weeks to show up and fix anything bigger than the hot water going out. And every time I've interacted with staff over the phone (except for the manager), they're rude and not aiming to help you. Thank god I'm not renewing my lease. Think twice (or thrice) before coming here.
On the plus side, because that's important to consider, the head manager is kind and helpful, it's just unfortunate that no other aspect of living here reflects that. Oh, and they have cute events like handing out breakfast on occasion and having holiday themed parties. I just wish these events felt more supplemental and less like a band-aid.
