Only been here for 1 month and already want to move, everything was rushed and unit was not move in ready, we also did not get to see the unit we were moving into before move in, they showed us a model unit that was nicer and had a bigger back yard, if we hadn't already loaded the uhaul and paid all the money we would have just stayed at our old place, I hope anyone reading this doesn't make the same mistake, as soon as you pay and move in all of the sudden everything goes from quick and rushed... to slow or unresponsive, trust me anywhere is better than here. Places like this offer these move in specials not only to get you to move in but also to make it nearly impossible to move out early when you're not happy and they aren't doing anything to help, they figure if you have to pay back the 2 free months plus the buy out you won't be able to afford it and will be forced to stay and deal with the bad service, fortunately that doesn't work anymore. Toured in person and just love the detached little houses! Top of the line GE profile appliances, the layout and amenities were perfect. The location is great too, right next to a park and tons of shops yet doesnt feel busy inside the complex. And Andres is the best! Professional, kind and knowledgeable. He is actually the reason. I picked to apply here vs the Bungalows on Market Street as it was a toss up. I just know if I have any issues I'd rather deal with office staff like Andres!

Honest review after living there for almost 3 years. This is for unit 107 specifically. When we moved in things seemed great. Loved the staff and quiet complex. First monsoon to hit: roof leaked. The initial repair was from the inside. They patched the ceiling. I thought that was odd but only cared about possible mold so I asked for them to do an inspection. Was told no. That was on me. Because this is truly the only complex that allows 3 dogs I wanted to make it work there. I can't remember if... the roof leaked again that first year but for sure it did the 2nd year I lived there. Same place. So I was told they fixed the roof where the leak was. I thought this was finally going to solve the problem. Third year: another leak. Same place.
The 2nd major issue we had was our dogs started having seizures around the 2nd year we lived there. Our vet advised us to watch out for any pesticide sprays in our area and so we started noticing a trend. They spray every week, twice a week. It may not have been directly at our complex at times but they spray everywhere. On the rocks, outside the complex. All over. The seizures were also happening when the spraying was happening so this was our final straw to leave.
Because we signed another lease we had to terminate it early and now being charged 8k to do so. Even though we kept our end of the bargain as tenants:paid early every. single.month. Never an issue. When you have to leave due to health reasons OR health and safety of the complex it should be taken into consideration and allow for the termination fee to be waived.
I will give a positive about the complex: working with Angel (the manager) was pleasant. He genuinely seemed to care about our situation and even though his hands were tied, he said he understood our worries. If you want to understand why we would stay for so long: you believe what they tell you. That the roof is fixed each time or that the spray is "pet friendly" because you want to make it work. I will also say that we never had issues with our neighbors. It's a super quiet complex. Side note: moving away: dogs have had no seizures! ***we will never know the true cause of our dogs seizures but you have to start with process of elimination and removing possible triggers. New leasing company employed recently due to a sale of the property. They raised by rent by 12% overall year over year. Just launched new smart home features that were not needed and are charging new tenants $35 for them (door lock, thermostat and water leak devices. Signs not clear on usage of pool area. Had to call the police recently as someone was out there on a cell phone using vulgar language and loud. Told management and all they did was send an email the next day to all residents... saying "pool hours are...." instead of explaining the whole area is to be shut down to tenants after 10pm. Lights around pool were always shut down at 10 by previous management but not this group. They can't figure out how to turn them off. Lights on all night and come into our window as we are right next to the pool. Amenity charge each month and security gates are not working more than they are working. Do not move here! Management is terrible! They micromanage everything here, making you feel unwelcome and uncomfortable in your own home. They send out weekly emails letting the complex know the rules and regulations and how they are watching the camera's on the facility daily. We were told that the amenities would be done by the time we moved in but that was not the case. The pool was just finished a few weeks ago so we went over a month without that amenity and the dog park is not even close... to being completed yet. This wouldn't be that big of deal normally, however we are paying for these amenities and expect that what we were told would be honored, just like we are expected the pay rent on time. Which by they way you will get a monthly reminder to pay your rent on time or you will be charge a daily fee for everyday your late.
We have lived here for two months and in one week we have already had two mandatory inspections which is difficult for any working family with dogs. They said that we do not need to be here when they come but who feels comfortable with someone entering your home when your not there. The parking situation is another major issue. We were told that we did not have to pay for parking and that there is free parking available, however this was far from the truth. There is never free parking available so we purchased a covered parking spot but because of the parking issues and confusion we have other people constantly parking in our paid spot which is a distance from our home. This also makes it very difficult for family to come and visit and often causes people to double park in order to save a spot so their family can visit.
