Go Back in Time

Like any major American city, Cleveland has lots to be proud of and there’s no scarcity of places that offer a bit of history. From international to local, this city celebrates everything from space to rock and roll. Take off at the International Women’s Air & Space Museum or rock out at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. For something a bit more dated, try the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Film and Christmas fans, though, may want to visit the one and only A Christmas Story House and Museum.

Go Wild

Get up close and personal with over 3,000 members of the animal kingdom at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Travel the world by foot as you adventure into the rainforest, the African Savanna, the Austrailian outback, and more as you learn about some of the world’s peculiar species. What better way to escape the corporate jungle?

Go Deep

If you’re not much of a land lover but still an animal lover, visit the Greater Cleveland Aquarium. Located on the Cuyahoga River, the aquarium has over 70,000 square feet of exhibition space and houses a 23,000-gallon tank and a 175-foot acrylic shark tunnel. Also, some evenings feature adult swim only, which means beverages and hors-d’oeuvres.

Go Full Speed Ahead

You work hard so you can appreciate some of the hard work that made this nation great. This is the case at the Steamship William G. Mather Museum. This retired Great Lakes bulk freighter is dubbed “The ship that built Cleveland”. Learn all about this 618-foot vessel that was instrumental in three wars over a 55-year commission.

Go Eat

With over 100 vendors, the West Side Market has all sorts of bakeries and eateries to introduce you to so many foods that make Cleveland tasty. Enjoy everything from Greek, Italian, Cambodian, and the best of the Great Lakes in one location. Then, top it off with a cupcake, crepe, coffee, or all three!

Go Exploring

Cleveland is home to one of the more historic Little Italy Neighborhood. Full of zest, passion, and zeal, Cleveland’s Little Italy has cafes, galleries, and shops that introduce you to the old country. Dine in one of over 20 restaurants, where you’ll be made to feel like family. Or take in some Italian culture at one of the many shops and galleries. If you want to sleep well on the flight home, this is the best place to fill up on pasta.
