1200 Riverside

Bug infested places. The management refuses to do anything. They also refuses to let me move out after my lease has ended, keeps charging me rent and because they sent me the wrong email address.

I hated my experience living at 1200 Riverside. I had GIANT cockroaches in my unit every month (you can hear their footsteps), along with swarms of termites, flies, and ants. Numerous holes around pipes in the walls due to poor caulking, holes in the ceiling/floor, and gaping holes under/around the door that were entry points for pests. The management is extremely unprofessional and rude (along with the maintenance staff), even when the unit has pressing issues to resolve and you make an extreme... effort to communicate. No one picks up the phone or responds to your messages. The walls are extremely thin to the point where you can't even have a conversation in your unit without your neighbor complaining about the noise. Used the machine yesterday with coins and the washer machine never started so i lost $2.00. Really should be working perfectly before advertising. i called the number to get my money back but all i get is a recording which is worst that the customer service before. very frustrating process. please fix them so we can wash our clothes.

I have enjoyed my time at 1200 Riverside. The apartment is just enough size for me and it is in a very accessible and great neighborhood. The rent is a little on the expensive side but other than that I've had a good experience overall with living here.

I had a horrible experience with 1200 Riverside. The reason I'm sharing it here is because I feel guilty if I let anyone else go through the same terrible experience! I applied for a unit in July 2021 and after a month and two times postponement of my desired move-in date, they still weren't able to prepare all the paper works. Two days before the second promised move-in date, I happened to be in the area and thought to stop by to see which unit I'll be moving into in only 2 days. I asked for... the agent who was working on my application named Omar. He told me a strict NO that you can't enter the unit because it may not be ready yet!!!! Then suddenly a girl named Shumaila jumped in saying that you have to request us to call the maintenance to see if you can visit the unit now or not. She was extremely rude, impolite and insulting and kept shouting do you understand we do business here! Finally Omar called the maintenance which the maintenance confirmed you can see it right away (so what was the point of all the madness Shumaila had?!). Though I was waiting for over a month and was planning to move-in to this unit in just two days, I decided not to go with 1200 Riverside. I couldn't see myself dealing with this unprofessional team everyday. The only professional person over there is the manager called Precious whom unfortunately wasn't in on the day I stopped by. Probably she wouldn't let her staff get so out of control. Anyways, I had a few very tough days till I find another place. But thanks to the rudeness of Shumaila, I learned about the unprofessionalism of the staff at 1200 Riverside right on time and ended up finding a much much better place.
