Crosswood Park

I am so happy with my new apartment! The move in process was so smooth, and it is so nice to move into a place that is genuinely clean and ready. The grounds are like paradise with trees everywhere. Great neighbors and it is so safe and quiet. I have always loved the Citrus Heights area but Crosswood Park is one of those hidden treasures you really would never know exists. Best of all the staff is awesome and it truly feels like home!

I can genuinely say Crosswood Park Apartments has been one of the best apartment experiences I’ve ever had.

I was moving from Texas to the Sacramento area and couldn’t tour apartments myself, so my girlfriend searched for me and visited more than 30 communities throughout Sacramento, Woodland, and Davis. Crosswood Park was only the second place she toured, but she kept comparing everything else back to it and ultimately returned because of the experience, the condition of the homes, and how she... was treated.

Lou and Emily handled our unusual situation with kindness, patience, and respect. They took my girlfriend seriously while she toured on my behalf, answered every question, and made the process easy. Lou was especially thorough in explaining the application, approval timeline, move-in costs, bills, next steps, and what to expect. Her communication made a stressful interstate move feel organized and manageable, and they were also flexible when I experienced delays.

My girlfriend viewed three different units, and every one was in outstanding condition. Since she couldn’t see my exact apartment, they made sure she could tour a similar model. That gave me enough confidence to sign a lease from another state without ever visiting the community myself. When I finally arrived and saw my actual apartment, I was extremely impressed.

The quality and condition of the apartment really stood out. Many apartments have rushed paint jobs, worn flooring, damaged cabinets, sloppy repairs, or other details that make them feel poorly maintained. Crosswood Park was completely different. Everything felt clean, cared for, and well maintained. It genuinely felt like a quality home rather than an apartment that had simply been turned over for the next tenant.

The community is quiet, peaceful, friendly, and well kept. The apartments are spacious with plenty of cabinets and storage, plus great-sized fenced patios.

What truly makes Crosswood Park special is the leasing team. Lou and Emily are kind, responsive, understanding, and genuinely helpful. Out of every apartment I’ve lived in, this was easily the smoothest move-in experience I’ve had, even while moving from another state without seeing my exact apartment beforehand.

I would absolutely recommend Crosswood Park Apartments to anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious, well-maintained home with a leasing team that truly cares. I would confidently recommend it to my own family and friends. Thank you so much, Lou and Emily!

I can’t say enough positive things about this community and the staff. I’ve lived here for 8 years and it’s been amazing. My apartment is comfortable and has a great floor plan with tall ceilings which make it feel bigger and more like a home. I see some low scores so I’d like to put in my thoughts about that. I’ve always had a positive interaction with all of the staff. I treat them with patience and respect and that is what I get in return from them. Have had nothing but issues since I moved in. Constantly have to put in work orders and then I get told I don’t know what I’m talking about when I put in work orders.

The office is helpful to get you into the apartment but as soon as you sign the paperwork and give you money they are short and cut you off when you call with questions or issues.
