I chose this apartment complex for the location. You are right on the Bay and near nice walking trails. The units themselves are nice. My complaint is the smell of weed 24/7. People smoke inside the units despite this being a no smoking property. The elevators, hallways, and gym reek of weed. The smell gets into your unit and will not go away. Management does not enforce the no smoking so beware.

Very nice apartment, the many people that there moving in are smokers including the ones they already have. Ongoing smoking problem at this apartment complex. The marijuana and cigarette smoke have become unbearable. The smell constantly drifts into my apartment and even lingers throughout the hallways.
Unfortunately, despite reporting the problem over and over, nothing has been done to address it. It is frustrating to continue paying rent while having to deal with secondhand smoke on a regular... basis. The only thing is continued emails and that’s it.
Everyone deserves to live in a clean, safe, and healthy environment. I hope management takes this issue seriously and enforces its policies so that residents can enjoy their homes without being subjected to cigarette and marijuana smoke. This is more than a concern! The community staff are very friendly and helpful!

The grand seemed like a great place and good deal and are sold a dream on the initial tour. Living there is completely different. Paying a substantial amount in rent for subpar assistance is disheartening.

The Grand is a wonderful place to live and the staff are great people who strive for excellence day in and day out. I highly recommend The Grand for anyone looking for a new home. My experience has been so Grand!
