Once a beautiful building with amazing amenities...
Once a beautiful building with amazing amenities became a showcase of poor maintenance, unresolved infrastructure failures, and management indifference.
Building has major infrastructure issues. The building has suffered multiple riser floods. The unbearable plumbing noise due to unregulated water pressure coming from water riser every night for seven months, disrupting the quiet environment, preventing from sleep. I have dealt with non-stop high-pressure plumbing racket every night. Management... hired ACCO Engineering System Company, supposedly the original vendor, to fix the plumbing failing system, to replace the valves. During seven months of ACCO working the noise has been reduced, not gone but reduced. However, upon completion the replacement has failed completely because the noise is back at its original starting point. The maintenance ignores the problem and refuses to regulate water pressure to get rid of the noise. Another issue is that two elevators out of five out of service, so only three working elevators make it next to impossible waiting time in the high-rise building. It is very frustrating to live in newly built (2019) DT high rise with all the amenities you suppose to enjoy, and paying high end rent, which btw management did not reduce or gave any concessions! Building is managed by Cushman&Wakefield after the restructure of MacProperty.
