I have been living in this apartment for 5 years now, and I plan on being here as long as possible! Building management has always been extremely responsive and great with any repairs, etc. Previous building manager (Nancy) was not the nicest, but I am very happy with our current management. They do an excellent job with upkeep.

I lived in a studio apartment at Del Rey Club apartment for 8 1/2 years. I could not have picked a better place to live 8 1/2 years ago. The things I was looking for in an apartment was a newer building, gated parking, gym, pool/jacuzzi, secure, clean, quiet, wood floors and washer and dryer in unit. Del Rey Club had all of this to offer. There are even public barbecues on the property that are cleaned daily. The layout of the studio made it so that it felt more like a one bedroom. I also had a... huge balcony. I also travelled all of the time, so it never felt too small. It was perfect for just me. If you are someone who is often home, I would suggest going with the 1 bedroom for a little more space.
I wouldn't recommend this property for college students as it is more of a quiet complex with a lot of families. Management is pretty strict on keeping the property secure and it definitely isn't a party complex (like most college students are looking for).
Nancy and the staff do a wonderful job at maintaining the property. The staff is there daily cleaning. In my 8 1/2 years there, I had many minor maintenance requests (clogged bathtub drain, garbage disposal repair, etc).Whenever I put a request in, the repairs were made that day, if not the next. They were very quick to fix things, which you don't find at other complexes.
I lived at an Archstone property before and as soon as my year lease was up, they jacked up my rent. I never experienced that at Del Rey Club. They were very fair with my rent increases in the 8 1/2 years that I lived there.
If you are looking for a nice, clean, quiet, peaceful and safe complex in a great area near the beach, Del Rey Club is your spot! I also love that it is a non-smoking property. Thanks Del Rey Club for 8 1/2 great years!
