I have never dealt with more secondhand smoke anywhere I have lived.
I've had a pretty lousy experience here. My first unit I was bombarded with cigarette and weed smoke from my neighbors in one building for over a month and after being persistant with management about it, they moved me to a new unit in the other building where every night my unit fills with smoke from one of the units above mine anyways.
Smoke free community doesn't mean anything if you don't actually get on the people smoking. I've never lived in a place that had this big of an indoor smoking... issue. It's caused me massive distress, damage to my belongings and I've suffered from throat irritation from the amount of smoke in my previous unit. My eyes burn while I'm writing this. I feel deeply disrespected by this place and hoped I would have a home with clean air for what I'm paying to live here. I would advise not living here if secondhand smoke is an issue for you because trying to get management to deal with it has been a really horrible experience.
