San Dimas Village

I lived here for almost 2 years and I was happy here. The landlord is a super nice guy and he was always easy to reach the few times I had a question. The people who live here are friendly and I loved the nice breeze comes through the courtyard. Kid and pet friendly. I never had a chance to use the pool however it was always clean and sparkly. One Christmas a small choir showed up and sang carols for all of us in the courtyard. I had a carport which was a nice perk. Have been living here for over 3 years and have personally seen the extent that the manager will go to make sure that the units are well taken care of and the concerns of the residents heard. The property is well-maintained and they seem to have landscapers on the property trimming and planting throughout the year. The pool and laundry are locked-access which is nice and ensures that only tenants have access. Each unit gets their own assigned, covered parking as well. Pets seem to be ok as... long as they're under a certain size/limit as I have seen some tenants with pets (strict waste removal policy for those that do bring pets from what I can tell too since children play in the grassy common area!)

If I had to say anything negative, it's that the tenants in the neighboring complex aren't great, but that's obviously outside this place's control. What I can say is that the sheriff department's response time is quick and the overall quality of the neighborhood has improved since the current manager started coordinating with the neighboring manager to identify and evict problem tenants (from both complexes).

I think as long as you actually follow the rules of the lease, pay rent on time, and make management aware if anything needs repair, you'll never have a negative experience. If you break the rules of the lease or pay late then your mileage may vary. Read More
