The apartments themselves are nice and the highest square footage in the area. The reason I give 2 stars is because for 2 people in a 1 bedroom apartment we pay almost $500 in additional utilities. They tell you valet trash is $65 flat rate but don't disclose there is an additional $32 trash rebill on top of that, making trash alone almost $100 a month. On top of this if you need guaranteed parking its $50 a month making an additional $100 a month for only 2 cars. This is all on top of wifi and... usage based utilities which come out to another almost $300 for 2 people. Cant recommend when theres places that don't charge for parking and mandatory valet trash. Don’t move here! I don’t care what move-in discount they offer. It is not worth it. I would not recommend these apartments to family or friends.

I have been living in the Renaissance Apartments for a little over a month. When I moved in I was given by management a move-in check list. They asked me to note anything broken that needed to be fixed. I wrote down the things that needed to be repaired and turned in the form to them.

Management told me that it would take a few days for maintenance to... make the repairs. Since then they have not contacted me. I emailed them three business days ago asking them to please send maintenance, and they will not respond.

It seems like they can’t be bothered. I have never lived in apt that it takes over a month to make repairs, and they will not even reply to my messages.

They only care about you when you show interest in the apartment, but after you move in you are just another sucker whose sole purpose is to make the owners wealthy. Read More

These apartments look nice on the outside but in the inside it’s a whole different story. The apartment it’s self had mold the sprinkler constantly leaked (Bathrooms have carpet where the sprinkler head it’s so it would often be soaked)notified maintenance and they said it was condensation but it was a lot of water, the appliances would break frequently (most like due to placement) , our HVAC system was hardly working and they said they didn’t want to replace it because they had just replaced... another unit and then a week later said it was our fault. You pay for maintenance on the pool and hot tub and they are never working, when we asked why they said it was to hard to maintain because of the trees on the property, it was like that for a year and a half. It was super easy to get in and secure this place nice staff just went so smoothly I recommend this place to anyone who wants to live in Santa Rosa

Absolutely horrible 4-month experience with Renaissance. I moved in in November of 2023 and within a month there was EXCESSIVE mold growth. The windows were also not done correctly so you can feel cold air coming through constantly. Also, in the last month, there was a leak that obviously was not addressed as the unit is now up for rent! The carpets had black mold growing under them and when it rained, pools of water would arise in the... windowsills and under the carpet. I ended up getting pneumonia and my elderly dog got beyond sick! Not to mention all of my items that were ruined beyond repair due to how much moisture stays within the apartments. I did my own moisture testing as asking the management for any help is a joke. It was over 60%! I mean, there aren't even windows in the bathrooms! We were clean and tidy people so when this issue came up, maintenance response was they we were "not ventilating properly"... Isn't that what an HVAC system is for, especially in the cold winter months where its below 35 degrees at night? This place is full of issues. Please do yourself a favor and look ELSEWHERE. I would hate to see a family go through what we did with them. If only I could post the photos of how horrid the living conditions were there. They have put my mold infested apartment up for rent not even a day after we dropped our keys. Everything from the management to the property itself was an absolute disgrace. I am not the only one that feels that way either. I watched at least a dozen people move out of these apartments within the for months I lived there.
