3(?) years
I have lived here for almost 3 years now. In the first year, the management was amazing! Most of everything that I had asked to be fixed, was. Then somewhere in my first lease they switched owners and ever since then this place has just gone to crap. In January '25 my ceiling caved in several times from a hole in the upstairs neighbors bathtub drain. Which for some reason took them several weeks to find. So I was showering in empty apartments. Which was great that they let me do that but do you... know how weird it is to shower in an apartment that isn't yours, not knowing if it was actually cleaned? Not only was I left without a shower many times because of this, I now worry there is mold growing in my bathroom. When I had asked for an inspection, I was told they would get to it. Getting to it apparently means, never. There was no follow up and when I had asked for some sort of compensation because I felt that was a reasonable thing to ask for. The compensation was $100 off my rent for the following month after it had finally been resolved. I'm definitely not ungrateful for the bare minimum but that's all it was. Around like maybe 5 months later, BOOM. Roaches. I NEVER had roaches previously. I've tried to keep my space very clean. When I reached out they were prompt to sending a guy to take care of it. And again, like every other time something goes arye, they're solution is the bare minimum. They sprayed something? I assume. In addition to a singular sticky trap under my sink. They were good about coming back for like, a month? Again, it was claimed that something was sprayed and another sticky trap. Now, those sticky traps, awesome. I've seen maybe 10-15 stuck to them last I looked. But when that's all you're doing? It's not hitting the problem where it matters. I've taken matters into my own hands. Liquid traps and diatomaceous earth. Ever since I took it into my own hands, I've seen maybe 1 every month. Which was a lot better than what they actually claim to have been doing. Alongside this, there's been homeless in the halls because the door locks don't actually lock and the gate is NEVER closed. Cops being called out several times for unknown reasons. Dog poo just left everywhere. The pool was barely open in '25 because people can't seem to respect basic rules. Plus the walls seem to be made of paper because why can I clearly hear a neighbor's conversation with their kid in the upstairs apartment? Overall, I will not be renewing this year.
