Absolute Nightmare - Incompetent and Rude Management!
If I could give zero stars, I would. Living at Ascend at Red Rocks for the last 3.5 months has been one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had. The management team is shockingly incompetent.
I was recently charged for electricity on my rent, even though I pay Xcel Energy myself. I did exactly as the manager asked and sent them my payment receipt. Then, nothing. For weeks, they ignored my emails and calls. After I hounded them, they finally fixed it, but then had the audacity to slap me... with a late fee from their original mistake! They are now rudely telling me I have to pay for a late fee that was 100% their fault. It's unbelievable.
This is the standard here. When we moved in, the apartment was a mess, and we found that some parts inside our refrigerator were broken. They promised to replace the parts in a week. That was almost four months ago! We've put in work orders and called more times than I can count, and it still has not been fixed.
I am paying rent to live in a place with an appliance that hasn't been fully functional since the day we moved in and a management team that creates more problems than they solve. The level of unprofessionalism is off the charts. As you can see from many other reviews, this is a pattern of neglect. I truly hope the owners or corporate office see these reviews and realize that the people running this property are driving it into the ground. If I could get out of my lease today, I would. Save yourself the headache and the money—rent somewhere else.
