The worst

Living here was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had, from application to move-out.
I applied for a specific vaulted-ceiling unit. Two weeks before move-in, the office admitted they “forgot” to order appliances, so my unit wouldn’t be ready. Their “solution” was to push me into an “upgraded” unit for the same rent, but I couldn’t see the layout until move-in day.
That unit was awful: second floor (so I heard everything upstairs), dark, across from the loud pool, low ceilings,...
outdated fixtures, giant fireplace, dirty, and missing a dryer. The “upgrades” were just darker cabinets and a stainless fridge. The leasing agent constantly got names and details wrong.
I asked for reduced rent. Instead, they let me move into my original unit—but two weeks later—forcing me to move twice at my own expense. Ironically, the “non-upgraded” unit had nicer fixtures/appliances than the overpriced “upgraded” unit.
In my actual unit, the A/C and heat broke repeatedly and were only patched. I had a gas leak from a torn hose. My neighbor blasted bass that shook the building; nothing was done. Office staff closed early, ignored emails, dodged calls, and lied about being “at lunch” at 3pm.
Fees are ridiculous: $50/month to “rent” cheap washer/dryers (installer admitted they’re junk). Amenities are pathetic: a closet gym with broken equipment and a basic, noisy pool.
Move-out was the final straw. My statement showed they owed me money, then suddenly a $78.80 “late fee” appeared so I supposedly owed $30.55. First they said it was keys late (false), then a utility bill (already listed). Two months later, no documentation, yet the statement warns unresolved balances may go to collections.
This property is disorganized, dishonest, and stressful. Avoid Canyon Chase and Brookfield Properties.

My experience at Canyon Chase has also been great. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and always goes over and beyond. Maintenance is always friendly and always helpful and whenever I submit an order, they’re always fast to help. Ground are always clean and safe! I highly recommend this place to live

I like the quiet neighborhood here. The mature trees and the creek that runs to the property Give it a Homie feel. People are friendly. There’s always a quick response if I have a question or a need.

I've had a wonderful experience living at Canyon Chase Apartments. The staff is friendly and they take great care of the property. I must mention that I never had to worry with snow on my stairs and any maintenance requests I ever had were promptly addressed. I recommend this place!
