Clemens Place Apartments

I was supposed to move in September 1. I’ve had four different move in dates since then. It is September 14 and I reached out to Jennifer to go in and sign my lease today as she promised Friday. She sends me a message stating they were closed today to come in tomorrow. It was a lie they were open .I told her I want my deposit back. Then she said I can come in today to sign the lease and potentially move in tomorrow. I said I was no longer interested because of the inconvenience and lies and... stringing me along for well over a month .I let her know about herself and then she rudely hung up on me. I had the most DISAPPOINTING experience with Clemens Place, specifically with JENNIFER and TIFFANY. I called with legitimate concerns regarding policies that had apparently been changed, and instead of receiving clarification or professional assistance, I was met with an incredibly RUDE, DISMISSIVE, and CONDESCENDING attitude from both of them.

Policies can change and I understand that. What I do not understand is treating someone with disrespect for simply questioning those changes and trying... to understand a situation that directly affects them. The lack of professionalism during this interaction was honestly shocking. I’ve been a Hartford for over 10 years. I’ve seen a lot of apartments. I can honestly say that the amenities at this location are up to standards tons of en parking a nice place to work out not to mention the outside area being historic is literally lovely. The units are greatly priced and include a lot of the value. I would definitely set up a tour.

I live in the same building as the leasing office and have always felt safe here. I rarely ever hear my neighbors, and my maintenance requests have been taken care of in a timely manner. Nancy and Yukari are friendly and have gone the extra mile in taking care of me!

My parents visited the US for 6 months and rather than cram in our small house it made sense to get them a 1 bed 1 bath apartment close-by. I had not apartment hunted since 2018 and was shocked at the prices and status of some apartments. But then Clemens place came to the rescue. Affordable, clean, lovely neighbors and close to everything! But most of all the office staff, especially Nancy were so welcoming and took such good care of my parents!
