Well run apartment building
After living at Arris for one year, the only area of dissatisfaction is lease renewal. In my case, their lease renewal offer is an approx. 20 percent increase in base rent (more than $600). Despite the significant and unexpected increase in housing costs, there are reasons to recommend Arris to prospective residents.
The 24 hour concierge service is excellent. The concierge staff are personable, helpful with packages and parking, and vigilant in ensuring that only residents and invited guests... are permitted entry into the building.
The maintenance staff respond quickly to service requests. I have had a few minor repairs in my apartment and they have always fixed the issue. They are respectful of my living space and sometimes wear shoe covers, which I greatly appreciate. They are also genuinely kind people.
The building staff foster a real sense of community. They regularly host events that are advertised clearly in the elevators. I recently attended a happy hour (which generously included free drink tickets and discounted food) and I was able to meet other residents in a relaxed environment.
The facilities are well maintained. The gym is always clean. And, the rooftop pool is secured only for residents and permitted guests.
The professionalism of the leasing office is a major reason why I chose to live at Arris. They are accessible and responsive. I appreciate that they are sensitive to changed circumstances for residents, including loss of employment, and focus on solutions.
