Run away from this place!
We have lived at Easton Apartments for over three years, and unfortunately our experience has been extremely disappointing.
The biggest ongoing issue has been the repeated water shutoffs. Recently, residents were notified that the water would be shut off daily for 10–15 business days while repairs were completed. This means going hours without running water every day. We have had to fill our bathtub just so we could flush our toilet later in the day. We suggested installing shutoff valves so... repairs could be isolated instead of shutting off water to large sections of residents, but that suggestion was ignored.
Our air conditioning issues have also been ongoing since shortly after we moved in. We have repeatedly requested a professional repair or replacement. When Vestico took over management, a team documented issues with the unit, and we were told it would be replaced, but that never happened. Instead, temporary fixes have been used, including layers of HVAC tape and even a bag stuffed into an opening to block airflow. The AC continues to lose efficiency, wasting electricity while failing to properly cool the apartment.
We have also dealt with leaking AC water damaging the carpet, cabinet doors falling off and not being repaired, and other maintenance issues that are addressed with temporary solutions instead of permanent repairs. When we reported another AC problem, management immediately blamed us for not changing the filter before even inspecting the unit.
The most frustrating part has been feeling dismissed when bringing concerns to management. After more than three years of repeated issues, we have decided not to renew our lease.
I would not recommend Easton Apartments to anyone looking for a well-maintained property or responsive management. I hope Vestico takes these concerns seriously and starts addressing problems properly instead of continuing with temporary fixes.
