Nice Townhomes, but Overrun by Short-Term Renters
Pros:
Keicia (Leasing/Front Desk), Jay, & Tayfun (Maintenance) are great! They are responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The townhomes are new, so it was nice being the first tenants in the unit, and the unit design is modern and visually appealing.
Cons:
People smoking in the community is a continued problem, even though we all signed a strict no-smoking policy. Walls are thin, and overall construction quality feels budget.
The biggest issue, though, is that shortly after we signed... our lease (summer of 2025), the community was opened up to short-term renters with no notification to us who call it home. It wasn’t bad at first, but recently the community has been overrun by short-term/Airbnb with no regard for the community rules.
There is no safety officer here, so there’s no one to enforce policies. Lots of groups of kids running around the community with no adult supervision, making noise till late at night. Adults drinking and leaving trash around, and on two occasions in the last week, local authorities had to be called for vandalism and disturbances.
The disrespect to the community, to those who work in the front office and maintenance, and to those like us who call it our home is disturbing and unacceptable.
Summary:
Had we known the community would be opened to short-term renters, we would NOT have chosen this to be our home.
If you are considering leasing here, be aware of these things. Corporate may be focused on filling units, but the long-term residents and overall quality of life seem to be an afterthought right now.
