Not a good place to rent
Been here now since May 2024. In May 2024 management changed over because a corporation bought the complex. Since the change over things have gone downhill. My apartment flooded during a rainstorm and maintenance didn't show up at all till 3 days later by then I had the apartment cleaned and dried out myself. Also they won't handle maintenance requests in the office. They send them out to a third party to be dealt with before they get sent to the office to be dealt with. Also have to deal... with large dogs and piles of dog crap that the owners refuse to pick up when they walk them. The windows are in serious need of being replaced. They are single pane window in their original aluminum frames. Also there are cockroaches galore and they aren't little.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your experience has not met expectations, and we understand how frustrating these issues must feel.
Concerns related to water intrusion, pest activity, maintenance... response times, and pet waste around the community are important matters, and we want residents to feel comfortable reporting them so they can be addressed appropriately. Our team does use a centralized system for maintenance requests to ensure they are tracked and assigned properly, but we understand how delays or lack of follow-up can be frustrating.
We would appreciate the opportunity to review the items you mentioned—especially the previous flooding concern and any outstanding maintenance issues in your home—so we can ensure they are addressed. Please contact the leasing office directly or email us at brookwoodclub@brookfieldproperties.com so we can connect with you and work toward resolving these concerns. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention.
