Veranda Club

My wife and I had high hopes when we rented our 3 bedroom unit at Veranda Club. Unfortunately since signing our lease we have been completely disappointed and let down by management. We have a main bank of elevators near our unit. Since we have moved in, over 6 months now, the elevators are continuously not working. They make very strange and scary noises, clanks, rubbing, etc. and frequently get stuck. On occasion both are out simultaneously, even over entire weekends, forcing us to use... the alternate elevators which are located nearly 100 yards away. We have an infant and 2 dogs to walk 3 times a day. Needless to say it is a HUGE inconvenience. We have brought this up to management several times and in writing yet the issue continues to this day. Currently the building is going through a full cosmetic remodel, in my opinion costing thousands of dollars that should be spent fixing the basic functional systems of the building. I certainly would rather have an elevator working than a fresh coat of paint or a new light fixture! I hope this review brings attention to this matter so myself and other tenants can feel like our needs are met and that the rent we pay goes towards keeping the functional systems of the building in working order. I have to be honest what makes this Veranda Club an amazing place to live is everyone who works for the community. Shelia (Manager) and Nancy (Assistant Manager) have been heaven sent. Not only are they professional and kind people anything you need they are an email or phone call away. Maintenance is the best they literally work so fast and you can honestly tell they love what they do and value the community. Don’t think twice go ahead and sign that lease you will not regret it.

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Lorena and I came from Brazil 5 years ago. When you come from a “big change” in life, our priority is our new home and everything matters: location, safety, schools, environment, etc...
I have been leaving in another place before but since I step into Veranda Park I felt in my heart that “this is the place” and I couldn’t see other places anymore.
But once you are leaving your dailies everything can change and you should adapted with new rulesz.
Right... now I have over 4 years leaving here and I have anything to complain about this place, zero. Actually, they don’t have a pool. But we still have Jacuzzis so we’re good!
All the people who works and leaves here are great, the apartments are gorgeous and I only have great things to say about the entire experience.

I just moved to this community and I am alredy in love with this place... this complex is full of high end details and the apartments are second to none. The details all around the building make you feel like you are in a five star hotel. But the best about this place is their staff, they are extremely helpful and very friendly & professional, everybody in this community go out of their way to make you feel welcome... so far this place is what I was definitely looking for!

This building is extreme luxury all the way around! Entering the unit w heavy wood arched door one can immediately see themselves living in a high end hotel! From the arched doorways and high end travertine flooring throughout the main areas of our "penthouse" (a 3 bed unit, to the gorgeous granite counters & island w high ceilings and the crown molding to add that perfect finish. Marble tub in the master suite brings yo back to the days of what it would be like to bathe if you were in ancient... temples. Marble drips throughout our unit and is my favorite accent of all. Another MOST favorite accent piece would be our prized beautifully detailed marble gas fireplace. This may be Florida however, being from up north its a sweet reminder of yesteryears. The garage is a safety feature I would not like to lose, nor losing our elevator seeing I have Multiple Sclerosis and many facilities that offer 3 floor levels, one has to climb stairs and that can be a challenge for me on some days especially when I have to food shop without assistance. Another favorite is my balcony which I have long dramatic curtains that blow in the wind as peek out to watch the stars or fireworks and litem to the beautiful oversized water fountain in our 5 star courtyard! Our building has a work out room and a small social club house one can rent. Another big plus would be the additional storage one can pay in addition to our rent which id very needed when you are a family of 6. Although we dabble w the idea of moving bc space is often limited and the rent will now be raised once again. Winning would sure put our family back on track and forever appreciated. Read More
