Evergreen at Southwood

The apartment itself is decent, but if you have upstairs neighbors be prepared to hear EVERY footstep they take. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. Additionally, the leasing office folks are very helpful up until the point you sign a lease, but that’s it. I will not be re-signing here.

The complex is beautiful however be warned, the service and care post lease signing is horrible. I expected noise issues, however some of the other issues I could have never imagined having in an apartment. Instead of solutions the management team here gives excuses and holds firmly to the letter of lease. The move in process was a mess, the apartment and patio were not clean when I moved in and the air filter dirty.

I would say there are much better apartments in the Tallahassee area, I... strongly suggest asking to the see apartment you are going to be living in and learning who your neighbors above and below will be before signing the lease.

It's also extremely difficult to get someone to answer the phone during normal business hours, which is amazing to me because the office is locked to outside visitors right now unless you have a scheduled appointment.

The apartment is nice and spacious, but you can hear every move your upstair’s neighbor make. For the amount they charge, it should not be this way. I’ve never lived in an apartment so noisy. If you are okay with stomping and it sounding like the people upstairs will fall through the ceiling at anytime, this is the apartment for you. If not, beware!

Also note when you call management to rectify the situation, they do absolutely nothing!
