Policies over people
I’ve lived here for over a year and have been a responsible, problem-free tenant. After renewing my lease, I requested updated blinds, as I noticed they were being installed in refurbished units. Management declined my request, citing “policy.”
I then sent a very direct and respectful follow-up email in hopes they would reconsider or at least address the concern and never received a response.
While I understand policies exist, completely ignoring a resident after declining a request is... disappointing. This wasn’t a legal issue, just a reasonable request and an expectation of communication.
Lack of follow-up and selective upgrades don’t reflect well on resident care.
