Serenity Lake Apartments

Day one there were roaches in the living room, kitchen, bathrooms, bedroom, inside the dishwasher just everywhere. This place is smoke in mirrors. DO NOT get fooled by the beautiful luxury updated pictures they are showing, because it is not a reflection of the actual quality of these apartments. I have been complaining about the mold in my apartment since I moved here in October. They told me it’s not mold, and that they will be here to paint over it. This place is disgusting.

There are so many reasons this place is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived. The main issue is that management is lazy and inept. If you have an issue they will blame you. They do not return calls to emails if it’s about a mistake they make. The gates worked all of two months and have been broken for the past six months. The pools are not open on Sundays, holidays, or outside of office hours. That is when they work and are not super gross. Whenever a service is going to be cut off they... will leave a note on your door at the end of the day saying things like electric maintenance is scheduled for the next day so plan accordingly. Of course you won’t see this until you get home at the end of the day which is great. They have the ability to email all of the residents but to date it was only used to threaten residents to not set off fireworks in the complex for 4th of July. I rented one of the renovated units and everything is super cheap. Appliances, fixtures, the drywall itself all started to breakdown as soon as we moved in. Of course though when we request them to be fixed we are told it has to be our fault because everything is new. The rent is a couple hundred bucks cheaper than other places nearby but just know that it means amenities you cannot use, paper thin walls, garbage everywhere, and terrible management. There is more but this review is already long enough and if what I mentioned above doesn’t convince you then nothing I write will. Take my advice and look elsewhere if you can afford it. There is a reason this place is the cheaper option for the area. Read More
