Unsafe Property, Shady Management
I lived there for over 2 years, but voluntarily vacated the building after being attacked by another tenant in the building, and having to press charges to protect myself. I moved out on the 1st of the month to ensure my safety, and they’re still trying to charge me for the full month, and haven’t returned my security deposit over a month after the certified letter requesting its return was received by the management company. Brenda, the building manager at the time is no longer there, but she... was aware of the issues with the unruly and dangerous resident & said it could take a while for them to be able legally remove him, even after almost a dozen police officers were on site, entering the building with helmets and riot shields. The cops were called on this guy multiple times AFTER I moved out, so it’s clear that my relocation was necessary as the building STILL hadn’t ensured the safety of the other residents. My car was also broken into once, and damaged a couple of other times in the RainDance parking lot, which costs a pretty penny even with insurance. So, NO, I certainly can’t recommend this place, and I deeply wish they would do the right thing, return my security deposit, and take the safety of their premises more seriously.
