Poor Management Longstanding Maintenance Issues

Completely incompetent team running this apartment complex. Management will make promises to complete work orders and not follow through for 9 months. They will also promise you a rent credit and then not give you the amount promised.

I’ve lived in my apartment since the end of January, and for the entire length of my lease I’ve dealt with major maintenance issues. My shower wasn’t fixed for 35 weeks, my window and door insulation issues were unresolved for 30 weeks, and my damaged floorboard...
and window screens took over 6 months to be addressed. I moved into this apartment complex in January and immediately had issues upon move in. These issues were just resolved in NOVEMBER.

My living room window was duct-taped by the maintenance team for months. Maintenance later removed the duct tape and never fixed the window! Every window in the unit had issues with broken tracks. The front door had no proper insulation. My shower wasn’t fixed for 35 weeks, my window and door insulation issues went unresolved for 30 weeks, and my damaged floorboard and window screens took over 6 months to be addressed.

These problems have persisted for over HALF of my lease agreement, and I’ve continued to pay full rent while living in a unit that has never been fully functional or maintained to acceptable standards.

I’ve repeatedly submitted work orders and followed up in person, yet many repairs were marked “completed” despite nothing being fixed.

No resident should have to deal with unresolved issues for eight months. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously for the sake of future tenants.

I love the area and convenience of living here. Just don’t expect proper living conditions or a competent management team.

Would not recommend

I've been a resident for 1.5 years and would not recommend this complex. The shared spaces are poorly maintained (half the treadmills are broken in the gym, the pool doesn't get a 'permit' to open until July, trash all over the parking lots, and gates are literally always broken). Maintenance frequently closes requests without doing anything and other residents show little respect for neighbors and common areas. I'm sure they will respond to this asking me to email their office but Management... does not respond to emails. I've reached out regarding safety issues such as off leash dogs snapping at my dog and abandoned cars and broken AC in the gym in the summer and never received a reply. Some of these issues are par for the course for any apartment complex but I have to imagine there are some better options out there.

SAFE YOURSELF !!!!

The management at Willow West Collier Hill is absolutely terrible, and there is ZERO communication between the leasing office staff. My roommate and I were in the process of signing our lease,THINKING we were about to move into an apartment, but what we actually experienced was the most chaotic and unprofessional leasing process I have ever encountered.

On our scheduled move-in day, we had been calling the office all day to get clarity on logistics and any outstanding documents since we had...
never even seen our lease uploaded in the portal. No one answered the phones at all. It got so bad that we had to *67 their number because we genuinely thought they had BLOCKED us! When we did get someone on the phone, she put us on hold and eventually hung. After hours of frustration, we drove over an hour to the office, hoping for answers, only to witness a leasing agent, Chiquita, literally hanging up the phone right in front of us. Completely unprofessional.

To make matters worse, the leasing manager, Jessica (or Yessica), NEVER spoke with us despite us asking multiple times. Instead, she was completely dismissive and ignored the entire situation. When we finally got a response, all we got were excuses—she claimed she was “on multiple calls” and “planning events” (as if this is playtime instead of an actual leasing office). Not once did anyone in that office apologize or take accountability for anything.

Granted, we were not fully prepared on the day of our expected move-in, BUT we had been calling NUMEROUS times trying to get clarity—and their complete failure to communicate only made things worse. The only leasing agent who even attempted to do his job was Rod, but unfortunately, one person cannot make up for the complete incompetence of the rest of the staff.

On top of all this, my roommate and I are both pursuing our DOCTORATE degrees, meaning we are already under immense stress. This situation made everything 10 times worse.

If you value your time, sanity, and peace of mind, DO NOT LEASE HERE. The lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability at this property is beyond unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere!

Gym could be way better! Most machines don’t even work. Maintenance men are great!!!! Office staff don’t really care much at all. Apartment is nice though, I live in 2 bed 2 bath and it’s spacious and when I have guests over they always compliment on the space.
