Lofts At Bass

EDIT: Our internet has gone out right after closing time on Friday. The office is not open until Monday. This occurred soon after originally posting this review. This is not the path we were hoping for, and we are looking in to all available options. This is the only review they don't respond to, and coincidentally the internet shuts off in one apartment?

Many weeks prior to moving in, we shared full move in plans including the date we were moving in. Despite this, we found out through social... media that they planned to be closed that day to “celebrate the employees.” I worked at an apartment for over a year that was many times larger than this (1000+ residents). We knew when every single person was moving in, actively coordinated with them, and had a folder and bags ready for their arrival. The post/text happened only days ahead of when we planned to leave, and we had no time to change moving plans. With the office closed they left the keys in an unsecured drawer, and they never gave us our mail key. To this day, we do not have the mail key despite weeks of repeated requests. When we arrived, there were numerous problems with the apartment. Water pressure was down on various sinks, the ice maker in the fridge does not work and makes weird noises, the internet was completely non-functional, and more. It took weeks to get the internet working. It appears the water pressure has also been fixed as of today. (current day: If it was not for the above edit, ice maker, and mail key, I would change my review.) Interactions in the office have come off dismissive which felt rude after weeks went by. What caused me to finally post this was the excessive noise. On random days, we are hearing extremely loud banging, knocking, and slamming above us. My partner returned from the ER late last night and woke up to this right above our heads early in the morning. They do not respond to any requests to quiet down. Both Sarah and I want a good solution and are happy to change our reviews if our issues are finally addressed. Read More

Lofts at Bass rock! I recently relocated from Atlanta to the mid-state. After searching for a few weeks I finally found the Lofts at Bass and have been extremely satisfied. They are safe, well-apointed, and offer a responsive concierge-style staff. You won't find a better luxury apartment complex in Macon. Not to mention you have Publix, Margaritas Mexican Grill, Mellow Mushroom, frozen yogurt, and Natalia's fine-dining all within walking distance.
