Sierra Pointe Apartments

I lived there for 2 years and I loved it. Is such a great community, really nice people living there. Others reviews are accurate about getting complaints about your pet being pet. I got several complaints from a neighbor that doesn’t like pets because my dog was barking, not late at night, in the middle of the day. But the worse was at move out. I never lived in a place that took all my deposit and a looooot more. I take care of where I live and always get all my deposit back, but not here. Nice place to live if you like to drop your stuff and receive cranky emails ALL the time about your pets being pets.

Claims to be pet friendly but management would prefer if your pet was a kenneled pet rock. When management sees you on site they look automatically the other way.

Corporate says they will work on training employees. You can train skills, not personality. If they are nice during your tour. It’s a lie.

If you’re looking for an apartment - LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE. Do not rent here. It’s not worth the headache or money.

Let me begin by saying that I am required to give a one star review, I would select zero if I could. This apartment complex will lie to you at move in and do anything they can to milk you of your money. A couple months ago, they sent an email stating that EVERYONE was required to move their vehicles so they can sweep the parking lot/garages ?? or your car would be towed at your *own*... expense. Within 24 hours! Didn’t care to provide enough notice to us then. There are elderly tenants in our complex that needed more time in advance to get their belongings moved and got towed at their own expense because Sierra Pointe doesn’t care at all.

The pool is basically unusable because they don’t care if you’re a resident or not. So entire families/parties take up all 6 chairs provided. So don’t count on being able to use that amenity in your grossly overpriced rent. You could find a 2+ bedroom apartment in wdm for less than a one bedroom here.

The hallways also consistently smell like trash/puke. For the amount of money everyone pays, you’d assume this wouldn’t be an issue. Dogs are always barking, and staff does nothing about noise complaints (they’re too busy sunbathing at the pool to be an actual landlord). Kids are constantly running down halls, even past their “quiet hours” rule.

Three property managers have come and go. They were actually good people and cared about residents. It’s clear the people left are the individuals that could care less about job integrity. Don’t waste your money here. Any other complex would be better than Sierra Pointe. Read More

maintenance responds quickly to any request, management is very professional! we won't be leaving anytime soon :)
