I do not recommend this building, especially given the extremely high rent.
Noise is a constant issue. Vacuuming occurs regularly around 7:00 a.m., and trash pickup is very loud and happens around 5:00 a.m., making consistent sleep difficult. The building has poor sound insulation overall—you can hear coughing from neighboring apartments and footsteps throughout the hallway. On one occasion, a neighbor’s security alarm went off for hours, and management did not resolve it; the fire department... ultimately had to be called.
Parking is severely limited. There is effectively no reliable parking, and several spaces were occupied for months by security vehicles that did not move. During winter, snow removal further reduced available parking, with snow pushed directly into usable spaces.
Heating reliability was also a concern. The heat went out during winter when outdoor temperatures were only a few degrees, which is unacceptable for a residential building.
The apartment itself had basic shortcomings. There were no installed lights in the bedroom, and strong cooking odors from other units entered the apartment daily. This may be especially uncomfortable for residents sensitive to smells.
Management has been difficult to deal with. Communication often felt patronizing, and management repeatedly stated that a notice regarding residents smoking marijuana would be sent, but no such letter was ever distributed, and the issue was not addressed.
Due to financial constraints, breaking the lease was not an option, leaving me stuck in an environment that significantly impacted my quality of life. Good sleep was essentially nonexistent, and the overall experience does not justify the rent being charged.
