I've really enjoyed my experience at Treadway at New Trails Apartments. From the moment I moved in, the staff has been friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The community is well maintained, and it's clear that the team takes pride in keeping everything looking great.

One thing I really appreciate is how responsive the maintenance team is. Any requests I've had have been handled quickly, which gives me peace of mind. The amenities are also a nice bonus and make it easy to enjoy... spending time around the community.

The location is another big advantage. It's convenient to shopping, restaurants, parks, and major roadways, making it easy to get wherever I need to go.

We moved in with high expectations and initially thought we found a great place. Unfortunately, within a short period of time our experience changed dramatically and became one of the most disappointing apartment experiences we have had.
As someone working night shifts, sleeping during the daytime became very difficult because the walls and floors felt extremely thin. Everyday sounds like conversations, footsteps, TVs, doors closing, and normal activity from neighboring apartments easily carried... through the walls. Privacy felt very limited and getting proper rest became frustrating.
The kitchen looked modern in photos, but for everyday use it felt impractical. Storage space was minimal, there was no real pantry area, and organizing dishes, groceries, and kitchen items became a constant struggle.
Security also did not feel as strong as advertised. Package delivery became stressful because residents frequently posted about missing packages or asking others if they had received them by mistake. Some entrances felt controlled while others felt easier to access, reducing the overall feeling of safety and security.
The valet trash service also became frustrating because trash often had to remain inside the apartment until designated pickup times, creating unpleasant odors and inconvenience.
We eventually took the opportunity to move because we personally felt the overall living experience did not justify the cost or match the expectations we had when signing our lease. What started as a 5-star experience quickly became one of the most disappointing rental experiences I’ve had. Within two months, I encountered issues with noise, management, maintenance, and overall quality.

The walls and floors are extremely thin. You can hear conversations, TVs, footsteps, doors, and everyday activity from neighboring units. Privacy is very limited, and odors can travel between apartments.

Although the appliances appeared brand new, several had reliability and performance... issues. Landscaping was inconsistent, with overgrown areas, mosquitoes, and wasps around balconies.

One of the biggest frustrations was the valet trash system. Residents cannot leave trash outside except during pickup hours, meaning household trash and pet waste often sit inside the apartment until evening. If pickup is delayed or missed, you’re forced to keep it inside even longer.

Management was my biggest disappointment. During a temporary financial hardship, I felt there was little flexibility or willingness to work toward solutions. The focus seemed to be on fees, collections, and strict lease enforcement rather than helping residents recover from setbacks.

I love everything about these apartments except the lack of parking. I end up swerving between cars to get to my buildings lot to see if there is a spot for me to park in. Sometimes I end up parking in a nearby lot at another building when ours is full. This is an issue and they aren't even finished with construction work yet I can't imagine what it will be like when its all said and done and more people move in.
Tip: if you do mount a tv you will need a 24" mount as the studs are 24" apart.
We... were told when we first moved in that dogs are to be leashed and the owners are to pick up their dogs excrement. We do pick up our pups but others unfortunately do not. Some also do not leash their dogs like we all are required to do.
Now they do have stations for your dogs doo to be thrown away in and they even offer free bags at those stations if you don't have any on hand.
Water is split up between everyone so that could be nice but we haven't gotten the first bill yet so we'll see.
The dog park won't be finished until Spring of 2024 so we are hoping that it is big enough for all of the dogs small and large and their owners that live in the apartments.
I loved using the dog wash it was very easy, nothing to complicated.
The leasing was very easy to do after filling everything out on paper due to the electronic system being down at the time but i have no complaints for filling our stuff out on paper over technology. The leasing staff was super nice and willing to answer any odd ball questions that we came up with.
The fact that we have valet trash five out of the seven days is awesome.

Their pool is pretty neat though we haven't had a chance to try it out with our busy schedules.
The walls are quite insulated so you don't really hear the people above, below, or next to you. You do hear doors close in the hallways every now and then but ill take that over hearing everything. Literally the only thing you can hear when you sit on the balcony is the highway and the small airplanes that fly overhead.
The shower pressure is good but you might need a limiter if you are a female because the water doesn't last a long time to get everything done.
