Finding the right place to call home can be hectic sometimes. But when I met the wonderful management at sherwood I knew I this would be home . The management team is wonderful and take any questions and concerns seriously . Maintenance is quick to respond . The neighborhood is peaceful. If your searching stop by you won't be disappointed!

I like the apartment while I was there. The office staff is friendly and maintenance was always on top of things! Totally recommend!

Staff is helpful and professional. Maintenance is responsive and friendly. The grounds are well kept with brightly colored flowers planted for each season. There are two outdoor pools. The apartment buildings themselves are attractive, homey and welcoming. My family feels safe in this complex. I would definitely recommend Sherwood Apartments to anyone looking for an affordable place to live!

Probably due to being close to HyVee, there is a lot of foot traffic from people who don't live here. Non-residents often use the basketball & tennis courts and swimming pool. Frequently parking lots are used as playgrounds. Security officers called after hours to handle disturbances are not helpful.
Even into our second lease, we still have never had an exterminator from the apartment complex come to exterminate, even as a matter of routine, as we have had in other apartments. Any spraying for... spiders, etc, we've done ourselves. There appears to be little insulation in the buildings, because the utility bills are high; noises outside are not muffled at all. No lights in the bedrooms. Was lied to several times. Moved into my apartment with dirty stained carpet. Was told I wouldn’t be charged for the carpet when I moved out and I was charged $74 for carpet that was stained before I even moved in. I asked prior to painting my sons room what it would cost and was told that as long as it’s white I wouldn’t be charged... painted the room back white like I was told and was still charged $100 for painting. When I moved in they were obviously not ready for... a tenant because they didn’t clean the drain in the bathtub so the water wouldn’t drain. There was so much hair in the drain it was disgusting. They “forgot” to turn on my hot water the first week I was there. The door to the washer/dryer fell off about once a week. I found so many spiders it was insane. The vent that blows the air conditioner in the master bedroom didn’t work at all so it was always really hot especially during the summer. Outlets and outlet covers were super sketchy. Had to make them come in and fix these because I was about to have a baby and they would spark every time you plugged something in to them.
