FIFTEEN51 Apartments of Lexington

I have lived here since opening day and overall it has been a great experience. The apartments are without a doubt the nicest in the Lexington area and the location is second to none. You do have the normal issues that occur from other residents as you would in any large complex. That's really the only downside about living here but I realize not much can be done about that. The maintenance guys Logan and Tony are by far the best maintenance team I have ever seen at any apartment I have ever... lived at, and I've lived at a lot of different apartment complexes. They get stuff fixed same day or next day and they fix it right the first time. I wouldn't want to leave this apartment solely because of them. Also the cleaning lady does a great job. The residents here for whatever reason tend to trash the place but she is there everyday cleaning it up such that the place is in tip-top shape like it never happened. I have consistently seen her go above and beyond, cleaning stuff that I wouldn't even notice, and I am the most OCD person I have ever met. Like the newness of it and upgrades with granite counters and tall quality kitchen cabinets and new appliances -
Beyond that be forewarned there is no parking whatsoever on multiple nights and you will be forced to park in a different lot than your apt.
The winter months are comical as they did nothing with snow and ice removal but allowed it to worsen . Huge liability and it was truly dangerous to park-walk etc.
They do not enforce waste management of the dogs and lots of barking and pet... smells in hallways and stairwells but great place if you do have an animal bc its very pet friendly .
Apt are poorly insulated and you can hear everything as well as poor construction as there were several days every month that the doors would not work so residents are locked out or doors are completely broken so they remain unlocked for anyone to enter . The elevator was completely out on several occasions even trapping residents on the last breakdown.
Lastly they love to charge late fees for anything and everything and conveniently don't contact you and are not responsive when you have questions .

Overall, this was a great place to live. The property manager was fantastic along with all of the amenities. All fixes were done in a timely manner. The only complaint was being able to hear the neighbors and noises more than what I would’ve liked.
