Don’t live here.

My fiancé and I lived here for a year. Our apartment itself was newly renovated when we moved in. New floors and fresh paint. However, my whole kitchen sink fell out of the actual counter twice and maintenance was a pain in the side trying to get them to fix it in a timely manner. Water pressure was very poor and my showerhead was zip tied on when we moved in.
The neighborhood is not safe. There are constantly shootings next to the packed Kirklevington park. Definitely not a safe place for...
children despite an elementary school being not even half a mile down the road.
There was not a single week that went by where a shooting wasn’t reported less than 3 miles away on my Ring camera neighborhood.
The people that live there already do not have common courtesy or respect for others that are also apartment living. They don’t pick up pet waste. Garbage is frequently left in the lobby for the apartments and mine always smelled of cigarettes or marijuana. Children often run wild in the lobbies during quiet hours and in the parking lot unattended to. I have almost hit a child several times because of this. I did find many roaches and reported it. They always did spray when reported so they say. The people in the front lobby are super nice and respectful but the property itself needs a lot of work

don’t rent here

I am a current resident and have been living here for over four months, and it has been a nightmare. First of all, you can hear everything your neighbors do — the apartments have no soundproofing at all. People smoke in the hallways and management does nothing about it.

The bathrooms clog all the time, and maintenance can never properly fix the issues. On top of that, whenever maintenance comes in while you’re not home, they use your personal items and leave a mess behind. Keep in mind that...
they charge a monthly maintenance fee, yet the problems never get resolved.

Parking is another major issue. If you don’t get home early, you can’t find parking near your building and end up parking three buildings away. There is dog waste everywhere, and during snow days, they don’t salt or clear the snow until two days later.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Customer service

I’m really disappointed with the customer service! Their representative yelled at us and didn’t let us in for a scheduled tour, I’m glad that we figured that out before we decided to sign any papers!

BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH

If I could have gave ZERO!!!
I came here in April to rent an apartment. I was shown the model and I was told that my apartment would look just like the model. I asked if the doors, countertops, kitchen cabinets closet doors wound all be the same. I was assured that everything down to new carpet in bedrooms would be replaced. I explained that I couldn’t move until May 15, she said that was no problem. I apply and paid the $200 to hold the apartment. I was approved and then received a email that...
I had to sign the lease before 10 days of lease being produced or pay another $50. This was April 27 and I was not moving in until May 14 nor have I seen the apartment I am renting only a model. I told her I wanted to see the apartment before I sign lease. She said oh it looks just like the model I showed you, no worries. Someone is still living in the unit until first of the month. On Thursday May 12th I came to office with a check and asked to see or could I get the keys earlier to the unit. I was told they were not finished fixing, and cleaning. I had to wait until Saturday 14th my move in date. On Saturday morning at 10am when office open I was to pick up keys. I was still at Uhaul picking up my truck. She calls me at 10:10am asking when I was coming to pick up my keys. That she wasn’t going to be in office all day and was leaving. I told her that I’m on my way.
I get keys and she makes me sign a BLANK move in checklist without seeing the unit. Which at first I refused to sign but she wouldn’t give me the keys otherwise. I get keys and go in smh the bedroom carpets are wet, the doors are not same and have holes, chipped paint, there’s pet hair everywhere, yellow stains on baseboards and doors frames from pet urine. The cabinets in kitchen are damaged, have holes, don’t match, won’t close all the way. The dishwasher isn’t mounted in and fell out on me. The stove is filthy with used drip pans, pet hair stuck to bottom. The closet doors are scratched, dented, chipped and pet hair was painted to most of them. The outlets won’t hold plugs. The bathrooms don’t have safety outlets. The tub and toilet are slow draining and clogged. There’s yellow stains in and cat litter in bathroom closet. I stopped my movers and moved my bed and some boxes, clothes, and bathroom cabinet in, no furniture. I couldn’t get on the wifi and when I called Spectrum told me that the last resident is still in ResidentPortal.
I took pictures and went to lease office. No one called me, or came
