Poor Maintenance and Response to Concerns
50 days in with an AC unit that was broken upon move in. Temperatures average 74-76 but can get up to 80. We have been told multiple times that it's really hot outside, that we live on the third floor, and to avoid standing in front of the unit or it will raise the temperature. Keep in mind we keep our blinds closed, most lights off, have cooked minimally due to the heat, and turn off electronics when not in use. We have closed vents in the bathroom and closet as well as the doors. Management... will claim its fixed when the thermostat repeatedly shows otherwise. For the premium price paid as well as paying for our own utilities, BP is not worth it. We experienced several maintenance issues upon moving in, in addition to the AC - including a broken window pane, broken fan, clogged tubs, a constantly running toilet, a dryer that takes multiple loads to dry, and a washing machine that shakes so hard clothes won't dry and the machine moves parallel several inches. Tenants beware.
