I WANT OUT!
I would not recommend Reserve at White Oak based on my experience as a resident.
I moved in on October 31, 2025, and have dealt with ongoing maintenance and safety issues almost from the beginning. Problems have included a front door that would not close or lock properly, repeated issues opening the door from inside, broken door hardware, plumbing problems, a toilet that remained unresolved after prior repair attempts, water leaking from the unit above me, flooding, recurring AC problems,... standing water in the dishwasher, and visible spots/discoloration that I requested be evaluated for possible mold.
On more than one occasion, I had to climb out of a bedroom window because my front door would not open properly. I was also repeatedly told that I would receive a replacement door, and that never happened.
I have reported these issues over and over, submitted work orders, sent photos, followed up, and even had some concerns acknowledged as emergency maintenance issues. Despite that, several problems were delayed, inadequately repaired, or left unresolved.
Now, after I formally requested to be released from my lease without penalty because I no longer feel comfortable living under these conditions, maintenance is suddenly trying to address everything at once.
At this point, my issue is no longer whether they can come patch or repair things after months of complaints. My issue is the pattern of repeated problems, delays, lack of follow-up, and the fact that I had to live with these conditions for so long before my concerns were taken seriously.
I have extensive photos, videos, screenshots, text messages, and maintenance records documenting my experience.
I simply want to be released from my lease without penalty and move on.
