First off me and my fiancé lived here for a year and within that year it went down hill fast. They couldn’t keep employees and have gone through many maintenance men and the ones they currently have are sketchy. I would find a different place to live personally. I had personal property stolen out of my apartment which was locked with the lights off and came back to my apartment with the door still locked and lights on and when questioned management blew it off like it was no big deal. I have lived at Abita View Apartments for four years. It is a hidden jewel nestled by the Abita River and surrounded by trees. Minutes from the highway and shops, you have access to anything you would ever need. Apartments are spacious and beautiful, gated access brings extra security, and any maintenance is done quickly. These places are ok. However, the walls are paper thin. You can here the neighbors every move. The guy up front ( Sean ) is very nice on the surface. We came to find out he's a very shady guy. The maintenance people are suppose to knock before entering but they don't. My wife was naked in the living room when the guy just walked through the door. On numerous occasions we came home and could tell our place had been gone through. After having money and several other items come up missing, we... packed our stuff and moved. On a positive note, the fishing is good and the fitness room is ok. Hardly worth people just walking through the door and being stolen from. We have been living at Abita view apartments for three years and we love it. Apartment are spacious and nice. The neighbor's are very friendly and helpful we all look out for one another. Management go over and above to make sure everything is kept up and always giving out nice things for different holidays. Management is always available and very helpful. The location is great you have access to highway190 all of the stores are about five to ten minutes away.

I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with tons of storage. The master bath has double sinks, stand up shower and a garden tub. The bedrooms have carpet but the rest of the apartment has hand scraped laminate floors. They are beautiful. My apartment is located steps away from the Abita River. There are geese, egrets and other wild life. It is a studding view. You can sit on the patio and have a cocktail while the full moon comes up over the river. I LOVE IT HERE!!!
