Lumiere

I have lived here for three years, and I can honestly say this has been one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had. During my time here, I’ve dealt with just about every issue imaginable. Management seems to cut corners and use temporary fixes instead of properly resolving problems.

There have been rats, roaches, mice, and stray cats multiplying around the property. I’ve submitted several maintenance requests, and either they are ignored completely or it takes months for someone to... come out. At one point, I was without AC for nine days in the middle of summer.

One night, Buildings 19 and 20 had to be evacuated because of a fire caused by maintenance. Residents were never properly informed about what happened—we had to hear details from another maintenance worker.

The buildings also appear to have serious structural issues. I’ve reported concerns multiple times, but instead of addressing the real problems, they just replace carpet and ignore the underlying issues. There is constant mold buildup in my unit, and my requests about it still have not been handled. The mold became so severe that I had to see an ENT specialist and was diagnosed with a serious sinus infection.

I will be relieved when I’m finally able to move somewhere else. I would strongly encourage anyone considering living here to think carefully before signing a lease. Read More

I love living here. The staff is very friendly and the maintenance is very quick and prompt.

I’m really sad to write this review, but I hope it helps someone make an informed decision and potentially saves them from choosing Lumiere. I loved the location and the amenities this building offered when I first moved in, but unfortunately, the management and maintenance have been severely lacking.
This building is home to 360 units, yet there are only 2 maintenance staff members and just 3 cleaners who only clean the leasing office building where the office staff also reside. It’s clear that... the management team is overwhelmed and not adequately supporting the residents.
Since March 1st, the building has been dealing with a rat infestation. I had to emergency vacate and stay in hotels, spending hundreds of dollars, as the issue was never properly addressed. The building only granted us $150 for the following month, which was completely insufficient given the circumstances. Despite multiple emails and calls to management, I only received one response. We are now planning to take legal action, as the situation has been incredibly stressful, especially after having to abruptly leave and try to get back on our feet.
Living there for only a year, I also noticed that pest control visits were extremely limited—only two pest control workers, who happen to be a father and son. It feels like the building is cutting corners and prioritizing profit over the health and safety of its tenants.
Overall, the management and maintenance of this complex are disappointing. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and encourages better accountability in the future. Read More

Moved to my first apartment, they made it easy to apply and got back to me always if I had any questions or problems, very friendly staff, Gina was helpful and very thorough with the process.
