Hi there, we were very sorry to hear that you have fallen victim to a recent theft at Bella Ridge North. We assure you that the safety of our residents is our utmost concern. Our management teams have been cooperating with the local police and have... welcomed them to review any camera footage that they might find useful to their ongoing investigation. We are continuing to review all of the facts that have been brought to us so that we can better assist the police. The increased crime rate has been a continuing issue all over the Greater New Orleans Area, and it is extremely unfortunate that our community has fallen victim. In order to prevent future theft and vandalism from occurring at our property, we encourage all residents to report any suspicious activity to both the Bella Ridge North management team, and more importantly, to the Jefferson Parish Police Department. Because of the unfortunate situation that you experienced, we are now hearing about additional occurrences on our property from other residents.
However, these residents had not reported their experiences to either the police or to our management team. Some have felt that since they had not had anything stolen, or since they left their cars unlocked, it was not important to report. We do believe that it is critical that each and every incident is reported to all appropriate parties. Please encourage your neighbors to report any suspicious activity they have witnessed, if they have not already done so. Working together as a community will help us to continue to gather vital information in order to catch the perpetrators, and prevent future occurrences. Since Bella Ridge North first opened its doors, we have continued to enforce strict qualifying criteria. This includes running a thorough background check on each applicant and leaseholder. Our screening process has not changed.
