There are homeless people sleeping in the lobby every morning. Management does nothing.
Getting packages is a hassle.
Management is so rude.
It is a construction zone - noise all day, starting very early in the morning, every day.
Maintenance tickets go into a black hole. I opened tickets 4 months ago - still not addressed. At this point, they are in breach of contract. I would pursue it but I have already given notice.

I have had a very mixed experience at Nova Quincy.
The units themselves are fairly nice, with modern finishes and a layout that’s easy to decorate and make your own. However, there are several ongoing issues that make it difficult to justify the rent.
The biggest issue is the constant construction. Residents should be aware that there is significant nearby construction activity, which causes vibrations and noise throughout the day - occasionally through the night too.
Another major concern... is the in-unit washer/dryer. The units with in-unit are basically all-in-one washer/dryer combo units, which is totally fine, but mine repeatedly shows error codes, fails to drain properly, has damaged clothing. Maintenance has responded to service requests, but the problem continues to reoccur and seems more like an equipment issue as they are very cheap.
Communication from the leasing office has also been frustrating. Responses can be slow or nonexistent, and concerns aren’t fully addressed. The staff are friendly when you speak with them, but there appears to be a disconnect between management, maintenance, and residents.
The package system feels outdated compared to other apt communities in this price range. Packages are stored in a locked room that residents cannot access themselves. After delivery, residents have to wait for staff to scan them in, then retrieve it during the limited office hours (closed most weekends!). Many newer communities have invested in package lockers or self-service package rooms, which would make the process much more convenient.
Amenities are also limited for the cost of living here. The gym is tiny, and the lounge is essentially an extension of the lobby’s seating area without any privacy or functionality.
The apartments tend to accumulate dust super quickly.

I've lived in Nova Quincy for a year, and it's the best apartment I've ever had. It's newly built at a great location with easy access to train station, grocery stores and all kinds of facilities. Great management staff and environment with a competitive living cost. It's worthy to be your next home.
