GERMAN COCKROACHES. DO NOT RENT.
I am an easy to please person. I do not make issues. I've lived here for 3 years with my roommate and we tend to be fairly tidy. I could tolerate loud neighbors that would be up until 4AM, I could tolerate the shotty construction of the place, I could even tolerate the complete lack of lighting in 90% of the place. What I can't tolerate is the Roaches we've been getting CONSISTENTLY for the last 8 months. The worst day being 8 seen in a matter of a few hours, both in my complex and the shared... laundry room and hallway. The front desk will be nice when talking about it but only send someone to spray your individual apartment, not the neighboring complexes, so it just pushes the issue down the line. They agreed to get the whole place sprayed eventually after MONTHS of asking them to do something and even then it was not enough. They've refused to break our lease because of the roaches. They've refused any sort of compensation. All this for a rent price that could get me somewhere of a similar size, if not bigger in somewhere like Chelsea or Framingham. They may have a polite front desk but do not let that fool you. It is not worth the price. I've read other reviews and it seems they also have issues with bed bugs and similarly didn't do anything about it. I will be looking into my legal options at this point, as I've had to deal with months of distress, spent so much on roach bait, and had to purchase so many containers to protect my belongings.
