A Comfortable and Affordable Place to Call Home (student friendly)
I lived in this apartment for four years, and as a student, I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a nice apartment at an affordable price.
The building has a 24/7 concierge and security and they do a great job making sure we feel safe. The gym is spacious, clean and has all the essential equipment. The staff are also very friendly and supportive and they really make the building feel like home.
My studio had a den, which was very useful. You can use it as a storage space or... even turn it into a small office.
There are a few things to keep in mind. First, the washer and dryer are shared. I usually don’t like sharing these kinds of things, but they keep the laundry area clean, so it did not bother me as much as I expected. Second, there is no dishwasher in the unit, but you can get a countertop dishwasher if needed. Third, units facing Howard Street, like mine, can be noisy because of the light rail and the station. I personally got used to it, but some of my guests found it annoying.
These are the main things that came to mind as I am moving out. Overall, I truly recommend this apartment. The people here are friendly, helpful and supportive and I felt safe and comfortable living here.
