We’ve lived here for a while and this place has been mostly ok as long as you don’t need to ask the office anything or need any paperwork from them. Spent weeks going back and forth with them about an issue and being told it’s not their problem and we have to fix it just to have Kim, the main incompetent, finally say oh wait it’s right here, and act like she hasn’t spent about 2 months treating us like we are idiots. They constantly threaten everyone with lease violation fees and lease... terminations in mass spam emails about dog poo (we don’t even have a dog) or smoking or whatever else is going on. They specify no one will come into your apartment when you sign up and then will have almost bimonthly inspections that you will be charged for if they can’t get in. They even lost our homes spare key and told us we had to replace it or they would charge us to rekey the house. Huge security risk since there was a key floating around that had our building and unit number on it and Kim just says it’s not her problem. Currently their portal says you can use the “bridge living” renters insurance but have been sending threatening emails and texts telling us to get renters insurance because the bridge insurance doesn’t count. I could go all day about the horrible office here but I’ll just leave it at if you want some of the cheapest livable apartments come here, if you can afford a tiny bit more to not have these people in charge of your lease please go anywhere else. Our experience with Gateway Apartments after moving out in March 2024 has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. Despite multiple requests for a final statement, we did not receive one until November 2024—a staggering seven-month delay. Releasing a final statement so late, especially around the holiday season, is both careless and ethically questionable.

When we finally received the statement, the itemized list of charges did not match the total amount listed, with a $120... discrepancy. Attempts to clarify this inconsistency were met with silence, leaving us with unresolved concerns about the accuracy of the charges.

Working with Rosy, the assistant property manager, only compounded the frustration. She repeatedly refused to address our questions via email, making the process unnecessarily drawn-out and stressful. This lack of transparency and accountability is inexcusable in a professional setting.

We are deeply disappointed by Gateway Apartments' handling of our move-out process. Their failure to provide timely, accurate information and their unwillingness to engage constructively reflects poorly on their management practices. Renters deserve better. Read More

I would not recommend moving here they are extremely unprofessional and do not care whatsoever about you or the condition of your apartment as long as you pay the over priced rent and utilities they are happy. Please look somewhere else I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before I made the decision to move in here.

Please do not give your money away at this complex! The manager, Rosey, took our $150 application fee for 3 applicants, never processed the applications, ran backgrounds, or checked credit or work history, then called less than 2 days after we applied and said they cancelled the application due to us not responding to their phone calls. WE NEVER RECEVED A CALL FROM THEM UNTIL THEY CALLED SAYING THEY WERE CANCELING THE APPLICATION! We called right after receiving the message, and were told... they would reinstate our application. After MULTIPLE follow ups, then were told they wouldn't reinstate and we would have to reapply. They basically stole the $150. After contacting management and their corporate office, Rosey lied about what happened. We have proof that she was lying, but the management chose not to respond. Their handling of applications is completely unethical.
