Deceptive Marketing - Do Your Research
We were treated extremely well during the initial tour of the property — everything was clearly explained, and we were even promised certain concessions for parking. Guest parking and the security deposit were also discussed in detail, so we felt confident moving forward.
Unfortunately, once our application was submitted, communication dropped off almost completely. We had to call multiple times just to get updates on our status. After finally being approved, we again had to reach out for basic... information from Veronica, only to find that all the concessions discussed before applying were suddenly reversed, including the guest parking policy.
Overall, the experience felt very deceptive and disappointing. We spent $80 on the application and a lot of time gathering documents (it felt like applying for a mortgage), only to have everything change afterward. Definitely not the level of honesty or professionalism we expected.
