Very neat and quiet community
I've lived here for over 3 years and it's been great! I will be moving out at the end of the month, but I wanted to express how much I've enjoyed calling Chapel Manor home.

The staff members in the leasing office are rude. When I filed a complaint with the corporate office I received horrible service. I keep finding spiders all over my apartment. My building is on watch by Baltimore County police. Maintenance took over a year to fix a simple issue. No efforts are made to follow up with tenants regarding their concerns.

Poorly kept. Grounds are full of dog waste. Abandoned cars are everywhere. Huge drug problem. Poor lighting in the hallways. Unprofessional management. Very loud. Very smelly.

Maintenance never comes back to finish a job been here 4 years come home my kitchen cabinets have seperated from my kitchen wall I had to get someone to hold them up so I could get my dishes and food out of them and now I'm being told after I was told they could repair my old cabinets that my new cabinets would take more than 2 weeks to come in so Im out my entire kitchen(due to everything on counter top stove and table). But you better not ever be late on rent cause I'm sure they wouldn't go... over well but it's ok for a tenant to not have a kitchen for 2 plus weeks???????????
Seriously look elsewhere in this area may pay a little more but you will have a kitchen!!!!!!!!!!

When I first moved in, I loved this place. Although a bit more expensive than what I wanted to pay for rent each month, I finally had my own place and it was also decent square footage. However since living here for close to a year, I’ve noticed a few things that I’m not 100% happy about.
Pros:
-Maintenance responds fast to requests
-Good sized apartment
-Pretty quiet, and only the occasional noisy neighbors
-Friendly neighbors
-Plenty of parking
-Decently clean. I hear them... vacuuming the hallways a lot and carpet cleaning. Also, the laundry room is very clean and well-kept.
-They offer pest control services every Tuesday to residents (I used this often lol)
Cons:
-Pretty bad silverfish problem. I’m not sure if it was just my apartment because I had multiple leaks from the air unit and kitchen sink (they are attracted to moisture), but no matter how many times pest control came and sprayed, they still would always re-appear. Luckily there were NO other pests/bugs, but still annoying.
-As I stated above, I have had MULTIPLE leaks, especially with my kitchen sink and the air conditioning system when I first moved in. Plumbing could definitely be better.
-Although maintenance responds quickly, it seems that they have to be called multiple times to fix things because things are never truly fixed.
-Old HVAC system is located in the closet and it becomes very humid in the closet. Humidity is a big problem throughout the apartment though, and I ended up having to get a de-humidifier.
Overall I have enjoyed living here, just a few minor things that could be improved. I recommend if you’re looking for a reasonable place to rent in the White Marsh area.
