Due to a lease falling through somewhere else due to poor conditions, I had 24 hours to find a move in ready unit. I showed up to the leasing office here and they went above and beyond to help me. I was shown a few units, picked one, quickly went through the application, and had keys the next day. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and excited to move in. Any maintenance request I had was responded to and fixed almost immediately as well. The apartment and complex is clean and well maintained.

First off, my apartment was so clean when I moved in. Second, the staff is crazy nice. Third, the rent is reasonable. I am so glad I moved here when I was promoted/transferred to this area.

I’ve lived here for about a year and am debating on renewing my lease due to the following:
I’ve fought for my country for 8 years and never in my life have i had a place treat me like I’m back in a dorm room. This place not only makes you check in your guests with the management office, which are very rude and lazy, but ensures to pry in your life as much as possible. If you want privacy this is not the place to live. The maintenance men are here to not only door poor bathroom seals / paint /... handy work but to know exactly who you date. (If they are over more than 30 days you’re in trouble)
The leasing office requires that you never keep a bicycle on your back porch due to it being “junky”. Listen if i had more than an arms length in each room wall to wall I’d keep it inside but you’d think if I’d pay for rotating deck wood i could use it.
They make it impossible to do laundry as your machines are sitting right in front of a toilet. So if you want to have the door open and try and use the dryer think again, you’ll have to close it every time you need open the dryer door.
Counter and cabinet space is not an option here because you won’t get it. If you enjoy cooking and kitchen gadgets leave them out.
Keep your couch small because you’ll never be able to get it inside with the layout. Stick to a two seater.
Stay on the bottom floor if possible because in the winter it’s a nightmare. The steps need replacing so badly it’s shedding wood. When i informed the office of the safety hazard i was only told they replace them on a need basis.
The best looking ones are by the leasing office but to have the word luxury in their title is a joke and they’ve raised the rent just to add more rules to the lease.
If you’re looking for another mother or parents please move here.

Dear Tenant, We are truly sorry that you feel this way! We love and appreciate all of our tenants and thank you for serving our country. We do ask that the patios stay free of anything besides furniture to keep the property looking great. The size of... our apartments are very spacious and know that you were able to see your apartment multiple times before deciding to move in. If you were unhappy with the size we could have shown you different models that we have available, but the fact that you picked that apartment is not a reason to give a poor review. We love the fact that we are able to have laundry located inside each apartment for your convenience, and to save on living space the washer and dryer is located inside 1 of your 2 bathroom closets. The stairs are being replaced as needed and maintenance is doing a great job working their way around the complex. We will keep you updated as to when your buildings will be done. As far as guest, if someone moves in for more than 2 weeks we do ask that they register with the front desk as we run a background check on everyone living at the complex for the safety of everyone on site. This way we can also provide assistance to that person if they ever get locked out or need to submit a work order. This is in no way to shame you, but rather to assist you and your guest in the best way possible.

They couldn’t even handle processing our application. Almost four weeks ago, we submitted an application and holding fee. We had to keep contacting Auburn Ridge for updates on our app and what the next steps were. About two weeks later, I received a text from them explaining that they were still waiting on income and address verification from us. About ten days later, our current landlord reached out to us explaining that Auburn Ridge kept contacting them for information about us even though our... landlord had already sent the information multiple times in multiple ways. They showed us proof that they sent the information, and asked us to stop Auburn Ridge from bothering them. So here we are four weeks later wondering what is going on, out $470 from the apps and holding fee, and needing to get other housing solidified ASAP because of upcoming vacations, holidays and the start of a grad school program. Auburn Ridge sent us an incoherent email of excuses trying to blame our current landlord. However, our application was approved and we had a lease signed in under 48 hours with another apartment, so I really don’t think the issue is our current landlord.
I also wanted to add that I had to drive 105 miles round trip from across town to deliver the holding fee because Auburn Ridge only accepts this as a cashier check or money order delivered in person. It’s 2019 and every other place can do this electronically. In hindsight, this should have been a red flag for us,
