North Hillburn Apartments

I’m not usually one to write a review, but the management here is very poor. I called twice over the span of a month to book a tour and they said they would give me a call back when they had an opening. Never got a call back even though the website clearly said that they had 3 available apartments at that time. So, I applied on rentcafe only to find out that those “available” apartments are already waitlisted. Waste of money

When viewing the apartment everything seemed nice and built correctly. After move in date there was a cigarette burn in the tile, the door frames leaked light and the back door had bug crawling through everyday. The bath tub is cracked, and after first use of the shower the diverter shot off the wall. The ceilings were leaking and beginning to have BLACK MOLD FORMING! After emailing the apartment the Solution was to cut holes in the ceiling and the NOT repair the holes they’ve had in since... August. Both sinks leaked into the cabinets damaging the wood. And worst off all is the amount of money you pay for terrible service for a cheaply built small unit. Their radiators were not installed correctly so the guards pop off the wall and don’t sit flush. The pantry door was also installed wrong and wouldn’t close and the handle isn’t even on straight. Our neighbors were moved from their apartment to the one next to us becuase the company moved them into a unit that was infested with mold. These apartments are run terrible and the company in charge of them has no idea what “good” service is. I would highly suggest taking pictures of every square inch of the apartment because they are falling apart already. Terrible service, terrible company, and poorly built apartments Is all these people have to offer. If I could give this zero stars, I would. I was all set to move in, showed up on move in day with three car loads of stuff to sign the lease and when they brought me to the apartment, it was not the same one I had toured and been promised. When I originally saw the apartment they told me it was EXACTLY the same as what I saw and then they tried to move me into something totally different and smaller. Not to mention they wouldn’t accommodate or do anything to help me. And for brand new apartments... , the tub was already cracked and dented. The front door was dented in. There was dust and debris everywhere. And this is on move in day!!! It was awful and the management is terrible and didn’t give two craps about it. Then when I asked for my $100 back because it wasn’t what I signed up for and was totally misled, they refused. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Terrible service. Read More
