Regents Club of Troy

Was very excited to lease at this apartment and when there was an issue with my application I got absolutely no response from Dejah who made it seem like she was very helpful but wasn’t. I reached out to someone else and never got a response either. Haven’t gotten a response from anyone about this till this day (been weeks) but keep getting prompted to review this place. If they completely ignore and disregard prospects, how do they treat their tenants?

We lived at Regents Club of Troy for 3 years because of work, and it was one issue after another.

We experienced two major floods—one in December 2022 under previous management (who at least helped by covering our renter’s insurance deductible), and another in January 2025 with the current management. The second time, we received no support and had to fight for days just to get reimbursed for the time our apartment was uninhabitable.

During another trip, a bird got into our apartment, left... droppings everywhere, and died inside. Management gave us no help cleaning up the mess or removing the bird—we had to deal with the entire situation ourselves.

Maintenance requests take an unreasonable amount of time to be addressed, and communication is poor. The one exception is the maintenance technician, who consistently showed up, was respectful, and went above and beyond. He was the only staff member we felt truly cared.

The current management constantly blames everything on the previous company, instead of taking responsibility and fixing ongoing issues. The complex may look nice from the outside, but it’s poorly managed, unresponsive, and absolutely not worth the stress. Read More

Lived here for two (2) years. Overall, it was a OK experience except for issues related to deposit return.

Pros:
-Good, safe location
- Convenient to Detroit, major shopping, and everyday conveniences
- Grounds are kept well, however, access gates never worked and trash removal was an issue

Cons:
- Ever changing management, that can be unresponsive to requests for maintenance or other items

I relocated from out of state and was driving by looking for an apartment home close to my work in the Troy, MI area. I stumbled in on Regents Club of Troy, off the beaten path yet close to everything I need, for work and personal. I met Dave in the office and he and another young man, Adam were very helpful. They showed me around and gave me a great tour of the community. I was sold with the amenities, the grounds and even talked to a couple residents who currently live there. Dave and Adam... were great throughout the process from the application to the communication all the way through my move in. I am happy I found Regents Club of Troy and happy Dave and Adam were there to help me with my long distance move from LA to MI! Thank you both you made this a very nice experience.

I moved here in the end of October and was pleasantly surprise by the Regents Club of Troy. I had no idea that this gem was tucked away so close to everything I need! A stone's throw from Somerset Mall, 10 mins max drive to downtown Birmingham, and easy access to the freeway! I moved here with my dog and we were welcomed here with open arms! It immediately felt like home. I love being able to take him on walks around the community. He just loves all of the outdoor space. Also, I can take a quick... walk to the clubhouse and use the amenities provided there such as: the fitness center, clubhouse space for private events, indoor AND outdoor pool! Fun! I love being able to call this place home! If I ever move out of this apartment, I will only consider City Club Apartments from now on- the staff is great!
