Boulevard West Apartments

If you’re thinking about renting at Boulevard West, I highly recommend looking past the shiny new gazebo and actually paying attention to the property you’d be living in.

Because apparently the solution to apartment problems is: build a gazebo and hope nobody notices everything else.

The front office staff? The women I dealt with were rude, dismissive, and acted like residents were an inconvenience rather than the people literally paying their salaries. Nothing says “welcome home” quite like... being treated like a nuisance when you have a legitimate concern.

Then there are the roaches. Because nothing complements a charming gazebo quite like unwanted roommates.

And let’s talk about the patios and front steps. They decided to paint them, which I’m sure looks fantastic from a distance. Unfortunately, paint does not magically repair rotten, deteriorating wood. The wood underneath is still rotting and falling apart. Apparently the maintenance strategy here is less “fix the problem” and more “put a fresh coat of paint on it and hope nobody looks down.”

The property seems very interested in creating things that look nice in a tour or advertising photo while the actual condition of the property tells a completely different story.

A gazebo isn’t going to fix rotting wood.
Paint isn’t going to fix structural deterioration.
And a landscaped entrance isn’t going to make roaches disappear.

But hey, at least prospective tenants have somewhere pretty to sit while they’re being convinced that this is a great place to live. Read More

Where do I even begin? Management is extremely disrespectful and good luck trying to get ahold of them , you’ll better off trying to talk to a brick wall than management at this place. All the doors in my unit had huge gaps around the frames so my light bill was always high and maintenance said that they could not do anything to fix it. Unless you are trying to constantly keep playing a game of tag between you and the leasing office I would not recommend not even my worst enemy living here.

Worst place to live at. Stay away from this place at all cost. You would be better off by staying at a motel, at least then you would be able to get a hold of management. This place went downhill after management changed. Now the new office ladies are so rude, they don’t listen to any complaints and they think they can do whatever they want and get away with it even if it has rondo with privacy violations. Recently the apartment complex decided to changed to metronet fiber optic and the company... came and drill holes through all the apartment units and these holes were left opened where to you could see through the units. This is a huge violation of privacy and management was informed and nothing was done. This is when I decided it was time to move out. In addition, maintenance would come to my unit without a notice at any time, once I informed management they told me they were allowed to do that. After further investigation, I reviewed my lease agreement and it stated that they had to give me a written notice. Stay away from this place, it's a nightmare. New management took over earlier this year and it's gone to absolute hell. The walls are paper thin. You can hear every single thing going on in the apartments around you. They recently had Metronet installers begin the process for fiber internet but they screwed up so now we can all see in each other's units through holes in the wall about the size of a hand. Maintenance is well meaning but ill-equipped. They lost their main supervisor earlier this... year as well. They let people into your unit with no notice while you're not home and leave your door unlocked. Cars are broken into frequently. Office staff is dismissive and completely calloused and disconnected from the residents. Insanely loud music is played by neighboring residents all hours into the night on the patios. There's so much more but I feel you've heard enough.

Management changed since I moved in and it’s very disorganized now. Communication issues. Maintenance and painters are sloppy. It looks ok on a tour but after several months of living here you really start to notice that this place just got a fresh coat of paint and they raised the rent from the low income place it used to be. The neighborhood across the street is kinda the hood. I should have researched more because there are a lot of nicer apartments in this city but I was in a hurry and they... had a move in special.
